From the deep pit — mercies that are new, and a firm place to stand.

When you burn — be slow to anger, and let the sun not set on it.

For honest questions — faith and doubt can share the same prayer.

In the moment of testing — no trial without a way of escape.

Toward freedom — the Son sets free, and the old can truly pass away.

Lift and light

A peace the world cannot give — steady when everything shakes.

For a future and a hope — plans to give you an expected end.

The joy of the Lord — a strength that outlasts circumstances.

Give thanks in everything — a heart that counts God's gifts.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving — for He is good, and His mercy endures.

Patient, kind, never failing — the love God pours out and asks us to give.

The God of all comfort — a shepherd's presence through the valley.

Be strong and courageous — He goes with you and will not fail you.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

In spirit and in truth — a life laid down before a worthy God.

Strength to stand

The Lord who heals — for body, mind, and the wounded heart.

When you are weak — His strength is made perfect in you.

The substance of things hoped for — trust that moves toward God.

For the long wait — do not grow weary; the harvest comes.

Lean not on your own understanding — He will direct your path.

If any lack wisdom, let them ask — God gives it freely.

A lamp to your feet — direction for the next step.

A refuge and shelter — under the shadow of the Almighty.

Received and released — as far as the east is from the west.

You are His workmanship — made for good works prepared beforehand.

Behold, He makes all things new — mercies fresh every morning.

Life and home

As for me and my house — grace for the ones closest to us.

Two become one — a covenant of patience, kindness, and love.

Train up a child — wisdom, patience, and grace for raising them.

Seek first His kingdom — provision and freedom from the love of money.

Commit your works to the Lord — and your plans will be established.

He gives His beloved sleep — lie down in peace tonight.

The promise

By grace through faith — the gift of God, not of works.

A life that death cannot end — held in the Father's hand.
