A thought
Anger often guards a wound. God does not shame the feeling, but He asks us to be slow with it — quick to listen, careful with words, unwilling to let bitterness take root overnight.
A prayer
Father, cool the heat in me. Help me be slow to anger and quick to understand, and free my heart from bitterness.
