A thought
Courage is not the absence of fear but the presence of God within it. He steadies the trembling hand, walks ahead into the unknown, and says again and again: do not be afraid.
A prayer
Lord, when I am afraid I will trust in You. Take my hand, still my heart, and go before me into what I dread.
