A thought
Love is not first a feeling but a way of giving: patient, kind, keeping no record of wrongs. We are able to love because we were first loved — fully, and at great cost.
A prayer
Father, You loved me first. Fill me with that love until it spills over — patient, kind, and unafraid — toward everyone I meet.
