A thought
Rest is not laziness; it is trust with its eyes closed. You can lie down in peace and sleep, for the Lord keeps watch — He satisfies the weary soul while you rest.
A prayer
Lord, quiet my mind for sleep. I lay down the day and my worries with it, and rest in Your care through the night.
