A thought
Grief is love with nowhere to land, and God does not ask you to hurry through it. He draws near to the broken-hearted, holds your tears, and holds out a day when death itself is undone.
A prayer
Lord, You are close to me in this sorrow. Hold what I have lost, hold me, and carry me gently until joy returns.
