Terms of Use
These are the simple ground rules for using Bibexa. We’ve kept them in plain words. The short version: read freely, treat other people kindly, and remember that this is a place of encouragement, not professional help.
The short version
- Reading Scripture is open to everyone. Accounts and posting are for people 18 and over.
- Be kind. No hate, harassment, spam or sharing other people’s private details.
- You own what you write. You let us show it on the site.
- Prayers and posts are public.
- We’re not a crisis, medical or counselling service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
1Welcome, and agreeing to these terms
By using Bibexa (bibexa.com), or by creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. You don’t need an account just to read.
2Who can use Bibexa
Anyone may read Scripture on Bibexa. To have an account, or to write a prayer, post or comment, you must be at least 18 years old (or older, if the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to these terms).
3Your account
- Give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into yours.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts other people at risk.
- You can close your account at any time by emailing royaldominic@gmail.com.
4Prayer wall and community rules
The prayer wall and community are public spaces for encouragement. Please:
- be kind and respectful, including when you disagree;
- keep other people’s private details out, such as names, health information, addresses or photos, unless they’ve said it’s fine;
- not post hate speech, harassment, threats, or sexual or graphic violent content;
- not post spam, advertising, scams, or requests for money;
- not pretend to be someone else; and
- not post anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
We don’t read everything, but we may remove content or limit accounts at our discretion, including anything we believe breaks these rules. If you see something that shouldn’t be there, email us at royaldominic@gmail.com.
Bibexa is a place for prayer and encouragement. It is not a crisis, medical, legal or counselling service, and other members can’t give professional help. If you or someone else is in danger, or may harm themselves, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline in your country right away.
5Your content
You own what you write. When you post a prayer, post or comment, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store and display it on Bibexa so that the feature works, for as long as it stays posted (plus a short time in backups). You promise that you have the right to post it. We won’t sell your content or use it for advertising.
6Scripture and credits
Scripture on Bibexa is offered for personal reading and study. Each translation is in the public domain or used under an open licence that allows this. Some licences carry conditions if you reuse the text yourself, so please check them first. Here are the credits:

7Natural voices and study content
The natural voices that read Scripture aloud are computer-generated, not recordings of real people. They can occasionally mispronounce a name or word. Our daily reflections and other study content are written to encourage you. They are not pastoral, medical, legal or professional advice, and translations can differ, so please check anything important with your own pastor or community.
8Our content and fair use
The design of Bibexa, the words we wrote, and our software belong to us or are licensed to us. You’re welcome to use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t:
- copy the site, bulk-download it, or build a competing service from it;
- probe, overload or try to break the site’s security;
- use another person’s account; or
- use automated tools to create accounts or post.
The Scripture text itself follows the licences in the section above.
9Other companies’ services
Some parts of the site use other companies’ services, such as Google for sign-in and fonts. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for them.
10Availability and changes to the site
We do our best to keep Bibexa available and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always work, be free of errors, or that nothing will ever be lost. We may change or stop features. Keep your own copy of anything important that you write.
11No warranties
Bibexa is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties about it, whether stated or implied, including that it will suit your purpose or be uninterrupted or error-free.
12Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything other members post. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us to use Bibexa, which at the moment is nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
13Ending your use
You can stop using Bibexa at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or put others at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue after that, such as your content licence and the limits on our responsibility, will do so.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll show a notice on the site. If you keep using Bibexa after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
15Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India can hear any dispute. If you use Bibexa from another country, any rights you have there that can’t legally be waived stay in place.
