Ruth 2:12

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. excellent: Heb. precious

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. trust: or, make my refuge

For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the LORD reward thee good for that thou hast done unto me this day.

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Intreat...: or, Be not against me

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth. a reward...: Heb. fruit of the, etc

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
