Romans 3:31

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable. it: or, him

For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. he that: or, that law which So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. within...: Heb. in the midst of my bowels

And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. lust: or, concupiscence But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
