Revelation 2:3

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: according to: or, after the example of

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
