Psalms 96:4

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. and his...: Heb. and of his greatness there is no search

Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. submit...: or, yield feigned obedience: Heb. lie

But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might. Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee. to...: or, it liketh thee

For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.

Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

Then the Levites, Jeshua, and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and bless the LORD your God for ever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.
