Psalms 8:1

Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised. The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.

Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. excellent: Heb. exalted

For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

[To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of Asaph.] Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. of Asaph: or, for Asaph

For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.

Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

[David's Psalm of praise.] I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. endure: Heb. be his name shall be...: Heb. shall be as a son to continue his father's name for ever Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.
