Psalms 56:13

To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. power: Heb. hand the grave: or, hell

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not. slip...: Heb. be not moved

The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. reproved: or, discovered Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. he: or, it

O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. hell: or, grave

He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
