Psalms 3:4

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. set: Heb. anointed upon...: Heb. upon Zion, the hill of my holiness

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. am...: Heb. there is no silence to me But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
