Psalms 22:11

For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.] How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? chief...: or, overseer How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. power: Heb. hand

Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.

Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. I looked...: or, Look on the right hand, and see failed...: Heb. perished from me cared...: Heb. sought after I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

[To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, A Psalm of David.] Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. deep mire: Heb. the mire of depth deep waters: Heb. depth of waters

And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.

This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
