Psalms 19:12

Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. wicked...: Heb. way of pain, or, grief

For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. know: or, I am not conscious of any fault

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. falleth: Heb. forsaketh

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. conceive...: Heb. warm me Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. right: or, constant

Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred.

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
