Psalms 109:7

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind? with...: Heb. in wickedness?

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. guilty...: or, subject to the judgment of God

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.
