Proverbs 8:18

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand. As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; uncertain...: Gr. uncertainty of riches That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; willing...: or, sociable Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. a crown...: or, she shall compass thee with a crown of glory

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? of the: or, of that

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
