Proverbs 6:22

Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him. for...: Heb. for him the reproach...: Heb. his reproach Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found. O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

MEM. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
