Proverbs 3:25

But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. they that strive...: Heb. the men of thy strife Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. them that...: Heb. the men of thy contention they...: Heb. the men of thy war For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh. from...: or, when the tongue scourgeth At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him; If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
