Mark 11:33

And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. stumble at: or, fall in

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; to retain: or, to acknowledge a reprobate...: or, a mind void of judgment or, an unapproving mind

He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?

Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. in them: or, to them For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: so...: or, that they may be Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
