Luke 18:1

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Pray without ceasing.

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? in...: or, out of his way And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. daily: or, all the day

He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
