Leviticus 26:45

I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.

Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.

And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD. swear: Heb. lift up my hand

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. blindness: or, hardness And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. openly...: or, revealed He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
