Judges 17:13

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
