John 12:46

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. comprehended: or, did not admit, or, receive

And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, by: or, for Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, tender...: or, bowels of the mercy dayspring: or, sunrising, or, branch To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
