Job 7:21

If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time? so...: Heb. for length of days? Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old. But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us. But...: or, For wilt thou utterly reject us?

I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my sister. said: Heb. cried, or, called

The eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not. I am...: that is, I can live no longer

We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned. Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied. Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.

How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin. Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?

Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. receive...: or, give good

For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
