Job 31:35

Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid. Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.

Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book! Oh...: Heb. Who will give, etc That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat! I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments. I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me. Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me. There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.

Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. answer...: Heb. make me know

Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry aloud, but there is no judgment. wrong: or, violence

Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.

Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.

Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
