Job 15:6

And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment. Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression. my wound: Heb. mine arrow What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water? Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men. For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?

Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's? For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin? if...: or, by it more than by my sin

Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying, hearing: Heb. ears I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me. Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy, He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths. Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.
