Jeremiah 12:6

When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart. speaketh...: Heb. maketh his voice gracious

Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders. neighbour: or, friend

I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.

My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks they pass away;

And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
