Genesis 19:14

Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.

Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.

But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy. remedy: Heb. healing

They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine: And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them. Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.
