Ecclesiastes 7:12

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. obtain: Heb. bring forth

For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.

He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. substance: or, cattle

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure. salvation: Heb. salvations

The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends. the rich...: Heb. many are the lovers of the rich

Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. him: that is, God Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart. If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. as dust: or, on the dust Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver. defence: or, gold plenty...: Heb. silver of strength
