2 Kings 16:10

And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel. Damascus: Heb. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
