1 Timothy 1:11

But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. committed...: Gr. put in us Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. trusted: or, hoped
