1 Peter 5:10

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, covenant: or, testament Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
