1 Corinthians 13:12

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. by the...: or, of the Lord the Spirit

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. done away: Gr. vanish away

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
